The oldest continuously used town hall in California, this building played a significant and active role in Tomales' past. Today, it still provides a venue for regular town meetings and community events in this well-preserved West Marin village. The Town Hall, originally a simple, barn-like building built in 1874, was remodeled and enlarged in 1931.
